Seeking help to refine — and publish — a new organizational change management theory

We are seeking guidance, including possible recommendations for which journal for a submission, on a new organizational change management theory we have developed.

This model of change management works best with learning organizations (Senge, 1990), and ones without a structure dependent on a ‘grand strategist’ as defined in 1990 by Davidson. Other organizational change management models (Power Politics, Impression Management, etc.) have some pieces which work for the problems we are solving, but are not fully representative of how we are making disruptive changes. There are also elements of meta-leadership (Marcus et. al, 2015), as well as holistic leadership (Pashiardis-Brauckmann Holistic Leadership Framework).

Effectively, we are embarking on making some specific changes now — and from what I can tell, we are in fact disruptive leaders — to the way governments operate in a disaster in the United States. We saw a specific problem and then a way to fix that problem.

And boy, is it turing out to be disruptive to the status quo.

Here’s a link to what we have done so far, since embarking on this quest in March of 2023. Are we there, yet? Nope, still…
